It was Friday of Memorial Day weekend, 2010. I contacted USAA Mover's Advantage Program to find a realtor, and was told I'd have two agents contact me, but not until after the weekend. To my surprise, Joe contacted me THAT VERY SAME DAY, and we made an appointment to meet the following day! He showed up prepared with a complete and comprehensive listing workbook of my house, neighborhood and the current market. I was impressed! But, I had another agent to meet with until I would make my decision as to whom to work with. The 2nd agent didn't call me until the following Tuesday, and couldn't meet with me until Thursday. When I finally met with the other agent...He didn't seem nearly as knowledgeable...It was a no-brainer in choosing Joe to represent me!
As an Active Duty Soldier, I applied for and was accepted into the Dept of Defense Homeowner's Assistance Program. Joe was great in helping me decipher all of the rules/requirements/benefits and every additional step along the way...When I was unable to sell the house after 6 months, I decided to rent it out. Not only did Joe point me in the right direction of a property manager, he even found me amazing tenants!!
[When]...the tenants decided to move out, the first person I called was Joe Vickers. To my surprise, he still had all the original information from the first time around, and within no time at all, had the house listed again...I had several showings...we got an offer...negotiated and came to an agreement. Now, as an out-of state seller, it was even more crucial that there was no delay in communication...
While I couldn't be at the house for each step in the process, Joe was...Joe made selling the house as easy as possible for me. Even though he has other clients, he always made me feel as though I was the only one. I can't state how important that was to me...I knew I had the best [realtor] out there.
